My career, apparently, is taking an unexpected direction…
Whatever you need to do to get that image out of your mind, I don’t blame you … (thanks to sharp-eyed audience member in Orange County.)

I think my mind’s eye just went blind. 0_o
Jeremy can bellydance while holding a cup of coffee in his hand and not spill a drop.
And you know Joshua has been dying to strap some bangles to his waist to enrich his interpretation of Ravel’s Rhapsodie Espagnole.
OH! And your belly-dancer stage names could be Apollo and Dionysius!
Great! I’ve been looking for a new background for my desktop. . .
Hawt dawg! I think the Orange County Performing Arts Center just won over another subscriber. Where’s my credit card?
hahaha I’m so glad you’re back, Jeremy! I love your blog!
ahahahaahhahaahahaahahhaa … hhmmmm jeremy and josh belly dancing together 😛
Saw you perform with Joshua Bell tonight in Morristown but you disappeared so quickly after the event. The repertoire and your masterful hand at the piano was more than delicious, but what a great disappointment afterwards. I was hoping to ask you when and where you will be perfoming the next bellydance concert.
This is more plausible than you think, boys. From the Maxim Vengerov Wikipedia entry:
“After premiering the Viola Tango Rock Concerto by Yusupov in Hannover in May (which involved playing on a new viola and the electric violin as well as dancing with tango star Christiane Palha) Maxim returned to a full touring programme again.”
Just substitute Josh for Maxim and tango star/blogger/pianist Jeremy Denk for tango star Christiane Palha . . .
Actually, I think Vengerov took up dancing to get noticed in subway stations.
now that’s entertainment.
Ah, so *this* is what you mean by “the glamorous life” of a concert pianist. I was wondering when you’d get around to the glamour…
